John Frith, APR


John Frith, APR*, is an award-winning public relations expert and writer with more than a quarter-century’s experience in public relations and journalism. 

He guided communications for several top California trade associations, including the California Building Industry Association, the Civil Justice Association of California, and the California Alliance for Jobs before founding The Write Stuff Communications. Current clients include the Family Business Association of California, the North State Building Industry Association, Ventura County Coastal Association of REALTORS®, and the Farm Credit Alliance.

He currently serves on the board of the California Capitol Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and is a member of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. And his work has been recognized with first-place Influencer Awards from PRSA in 2015 and 2018.

Frith graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in journalism and began his career as a reporter and editor before becoming a congressional press secretary and later a state government public affairs director. He lives in Folsom with his wife, Sandy, and their spoiled-rotten black lab and loves golf, bike riding, and the occasional good cigar.
